Expert advice
Not happy with your tile installation? Let’s take a look.
If something about your tile work is worrying you, I’m happy to listen. You don’t have to know the technical terms or have the cause worked out. Start by telling me what you’re seeing and what you expected from the finished job.

First, let’s understand the concern.
A cracked tile, an uneven-looking joint, and a question about the agreed design are different concerns. I’d like to understand what is happening before suggesting a solution. Photos are helpful at the beginning, and a visit may be needed to see the space properly.
If you have a written scope, material details, or photographs from before and during the work, keep them handy. They can help explain the project and the result you were expecting.
A second opinion should be fair to everyone.
I can offer an impartial consultation on tile and stone work carried out by another company. My aim is to explain what can be observed, where more information is needed, and what practical options may be available.
I won’t assume a cause from a photo or make promises about resolving a disagreement before understanding it. Sometimes the next step is a clearer discussion of the finish. Sometimes it is a closer look at the installation. The advice should follow the evidence.
Some answers need a closer look.
Visible symptoms don’t always reveal what is happening underneath. For example, TCNA’s guidance on loose and cracked tiles describes several potential causes and emphasizes the importance of an on-site evaluation.
If lifting a tile or carrying out more detailed investigation would be useful, I’ll explain why and discuss it with you first. We can agree on the scope of a consultation and keep any possible repair work as a separate conversation.
You can start with a simple enquiry.
Tell me where the property is, what the concern is, and when you first noticed it. Include a few photos if you have them. If the job is small, please don’t let that stop you from asking. A backsplash repair or a few damaged tiles still deserve careful attention.
You can contact us through the website form or email. We usually respond within 24–48 hours, and we’ll help you work out a sensible next step.
Let’s talk about your space.
Send a few photographs, a question, or the beginning of an idea. I’ll help you work out the next step.
